New residents will receive one (1) 18 gallon "blue" recycling bin.

Collection Schedule

  • Solid Waste: Tuesday and Friday
  • Recycling: Friday
  • Yard Waste: Wednesday

Solid Waste

All types of food and animal waste must be placed in non-returnable containers, i.e., bagged or boxed to prevent exposure to collection personnel.

The following solid waste items are only collection on Friday:

FREE collection of yard waste, "created by the homeowner only", is limited to one (1) yard or less.  A "yard" consists of a level loaded small pickup truck bed or a 4'x8' sheet of plywood four foot tall as a box.  Any accumulation in excess of the one (1) yard allowance is subject to an Extra Service Charge of $40.00 (includes 1 yard) and $12.00 per additional yards thereafter.

Recycling

  • Newspapers and their inserts placed in the bottom of bin
  • Aluminum cans (may be crushed to save space)
  • Plastic
  • Magazines
  • Telephone books
  • Old corrugated cardboard (must be flattened with contents removed)

Recycling will be collected, provided it's placed curbside by 7:00 a.m.
